Raul Gomes – Raul learned to skate in Dubai, where he was
assistant manager at the Galleria Ice Theatre at the Hyatt Regency Dubai. He came
to Hong Kong to organize the first Skate Asia
in 1989 as the manager of the rink at Lai Chi Kok, and has been the manager of
Riviera Ice Chalet since its opening in 1990. As head coach he has trained most
of our high level skaters, specializing in jump and spin technique, and has
traveled with students to the ISU Asian championships. He is currently the
President of the Ice Skating Institute of Asia,
and attends many ISI competitions as an International Referee and judge. Along
with Linda Huggins he is the judge for all high level ISI tests in Asia. Language: English |

Linda Dean Huggins – Senior Coach NSA inter
- gold medalist Linda was British Novice Champion and
trained and competed in England before touring for 8 years as a solo and pair skater with Holiday on Ice and other international ice shows. She qualified as an instructor with
the British Ice Teachers Association and has been coaching figure skating in Hong Kong since 1988. She is the international judge for
high level tests and competitions in Asia, and
a regular speaker at ISI coaching seminars. Linda specializes in choreography
and has produced many shows at Riviera,

Jimmy Li: -Beginner and Intermediate levels Coach Jimmy has competed at freestyle, pairs and with Production Routines, and has been a regular performer in our Christmas Ice shows and with the Hong Kong Ice Theatre. He has passed freestyle 5, and specializes in pair skating and is a keen jump technician. He enjoys sharing his knowledge with other skaters . Languages: Cantonese, English |

Fioni Kwok
Fioni has been skating at our rink for over 10 years. She competed in freestyle 6 and performed in many Christmas shows.
She always has a strong team of skaters competing at competitions, and has created and choreographed group routines for our Christmas Shows, making her very popular with her students. She is patient and encouraging with small children and can teach in Cantonese, English and Putonghua.

Daisy Cheung
Daisy has been skating and competing for over 10 years and has passed her freestyle 4 test. She holds a Master in Law and an MBA and has worked in Human Resources. She takes lessons from Linda and is keen to share her knowledge and enthusiasm for ice skating through coaching. Her interests are skating, ski-ing and yoga.
She can teach in Cantonese, English and Putonghua. |

Johnson Cheung – Beginner and Intermediate levels Coach FS 5
Johnson has been coaching at Riviera for 17 years and has been a regular performer in many of our Christmas Shows. His lessons reflect his experience and genuine interest in the sport, and his artistic skills make him very popular with the children. |

Joe Wong
Joe has a background in competitive skating. He has passed freestyle 8 and continues to work on his jumps and train as a skater. He has a sound understanding of skating technique, and his experience shows in his style of preparing his students for competition in both singles and group events.
Joe teaches in Cantonese.

Maddy Mak – Beginner and Intermediate levels Coach FS 5
Maddy trained at Riviera and competed at Freestyle 5. She has been a coaching here for 3 years and has a very caring and patient approach to her teaching.

Carmen Lo –Beginner and Intermediate Level Coach FS 4
Carmen has been a keen student at Riviera since 1995. She has taken regular lessons in many different aspects of figure skating including figures and footwork, and has recently passed figure 2 and dance 4 and her enthusiasm for the sport and joy of working with children comes across in her teaching.
Carmen is a professional music teacher and runs her own music school.

Philana Choi
Philana has been having lessons at Riviera for over 8 years. She has competed for our team at freestyle 5 and performed in many Christmas Shows. Philana is currently studying for a higher diploma in advertising and has had experience tutoring primary school students. She is very caring and patient with young children and can teach in Cantonese and Putonghua.

Eunice Chan
Eunice has been skating for more than 10 years at our rink. She competed at freestyle 5 in Skate Asia, Hangzhou in 2010 and has taken part in some of our Christmas shows.
She also studies yoga and Jazz dance classes. Eunice has a lively personality and can teach in Cantonese and Putonghua. |

Choi Ka Wai, Norris – Beginner and Intermediate levels
We are pleased to welcome Norris as a new member of our coaching team.
Norris is from Australia , where he trained and skated at National and International Competition level. He was Australian Junior Synchronised, and Australian Primary Pairs Champion in 2004, and in 2006, he joined the German Senior Synchronised Skating team and took part in many ISU Senior Synchro Division competitions, including the World Synchronised Skating Championships in Prague .
Norris has performed in many ice shows over the years and is qualified as a level 1 instructor with the Australian Sport Commission.
Norris believes that a strong skater must have solid basics and good edge control, and is keen to share his training experience and skating expertise with the Hong Kong skaters.

Tiffany Wong – Beginner and Intermediate levels Coach FS 5
Tiffany has been a competitive skater for a number of years and has participated in several local and international competitions. She had won several gold medals at the competing at Skate Asia 2006 in Shenzhen, China. She is very patient with beginner level groups and is very popular with her students.
She is a bronze and silver level ISI judge.
